Garcinia Cambogia or Malabar Tamarind grows in southern India and Indonesia. Its fruit is yellowish, orange-sized, and pumpkin-like in appearance.
In 1960, scientists identified a substance in the fruit called hydroxycitric acid, or HCA, to which numerous qualities are attributed. HCA influences the enzyme ATP citrate lyase in the liver, preventing the accumulation of extra lipids and making us feel full.
In addition, garcinia helps to use up some of the fat reserves, leading to a reduction in body volume. It also influences the production of serotonin, known as the happiness hormone, and reduces cravings.
